 Doug Lawrence

Doug Lawrence is a sought-after international speaker with an engaging style that is energetic, informative, and based on almost 20 years in the translation industry; having held several international sale roles with leading translation companies and a translation tool vendor.
Mr. Lawrence is a passionate advocate for the professional translation industry, working to raise its profile and promote the value chain mentality in clients, translation companies, freelancers and educators.
Lawrence founded the UK’s leading independent translation technology consulting company, Amicus TransTec, in 2006. In 2007 Lawrence created the industry’s leading sales training programme Selling Translations™ which now consists of 20 courses and has been completed in various forms by over 4800 translation professionals from over 120 countries. Selling Translations™ has been approved by the UK ATC, UK ITI and ProZ.com.
When not delivering training or running Amicus TransTec, Lawrence works for the UK Government as an Export Communications Consultant for UK small and medium sized businesses. Lawrence is a consultant lecturer on the Master in Translation Studies at Aston University in the UK, and the Instructor for the ITSE 6083 Managing the Sales Process programme for the Austin Community College Texas, USA. He is also a Business Language Champion visiting schools and encouraging children to study languages, and is on the Regional Advisory Board for Links into Languages which provides support for language educators. Lawrence is one of the UK`s Principal Experts to ISO TC 37 and is a qualified          ISO 9001 Lead Auditor.
Lawrence holds a BSc in Computer Science and an MBA. He lives in the
UK with his wife and daughter and enjoys keeping fit with running, yoga
and resistance training. He is a keen amateur linguist, learning a little of
the language of each country he visits.

Massimo Ghislandi

Massimo Ghislandi was named Director – Field Marketing for SDL TRADOS Technologies – the leader in Global Information Management (GIM) solutions that empower organizations to accelerate the delivery of high-quality multilingual content to global markets. A native of Italy, Mr. Ghislandi is a Business Administration graduate of Bocconi University, Milano and a Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (MCIM). With over 9 years Business to Business marketing experience, Massimo held positions within Product Marketing Management and Marketing Communications departments at various large international corporations including Avery Dennison and ITT Industries.  He is now managing the world-wide marketing activities for SDL TRADOS Technologies and his area of expertise are Terminology Management software tools.

Anne-Marie Colliander Lind

Anne-Marie Colliander Lind  has more than twenty years of expertise in helping global businesses solve their translation, localization, and technology issues, and has carried out numerous sales and executive management positions at service and technology market leaders in the translation industry. Previously, Ms. Colliander Lind served as International Sales Director for Semantix in Sweden and prior to that as CEO for TRADOS Scandinavia AB, where she worked for nearly a decade. At Common Sense Advisory, Anne-Marie oversees the firm’s European business development and account management.

Andrzej Nedoma
LIDO-LANG Technical Translations  
 
Graduate (2003) of the engineering and economics studies at the Faculty of Management and Marketing of Stanisław Staszic University of Science and Technology in Krakow. In 2001-2002, he also studied economics at Università degli Studi di Bergamo in Bergamo, Italy.
He started his work for LIDO-LANG Technical Translations as a translator and project coordinator. Subsequently, he took on the responsibility for the organisation of the production and proofreading department, implementation of the ISO 9001 and EN 15038 standards and further building the company’s development strategy. At present, he is a partner in the company, in the capacity of the managing director. He is responsible for the overall operations of the company, as well as for the development and implementation of international development plans.
Andrzej is also Managing Director of XTRF Translation Management Systems. From the beginning, he was involved in XTRF concept design, development, marketing and sales. Now he is responsible for developing global XTRF brand strategy and XTRF world-wide expansion.
In 2006, he was awarded the title "Micro-Entrepreneur of the Year” in the "services” category in the second edition of the competition organised by Citibank Handlowy and the Leopold Kronenberg Foundation in Poland.
He has a passion for work in the international environment, interaction with clients and partners across Europe and the world. He often represents the company at conferences and industry gatherings, where he is happy to deliver presentations. He speaks English, Italian and French fluently. At work, he promotes dynamism in action, ambitious goals and a good sense of humour.

Stаn joined XTRF™ Translation Management Systems as a Sales Manager in 2007. He has extensive experience living in a few European countries. Now Stаn can take advantage of this fact working with LSPs of different sizes, mainly from the Central and Eastern Europe.
Stаn can boast dozens of successful implementations of XTRF™ solutions in Central Europe (especially Poland and Baltic States) and CIS (especially Russia and Kazakhstan) where smallest requests received from LSPs have been listened carefully and taken into consideration.
